Many people still have a working notebook, PC or console sitting in a cupboard. Too good to throw away, but no longer needed. Through GamingPlanet.nl in Haarlem, that machine can still make a real difference for someone else.

Retro museum
Some retro hardware deserves to be kept, described and shown later. Think of machines with a story, unusual revisions, old documentation, demo or promotional material, special peripherals or parts that say something about a specific hardware generation.
We are slowly building a small GamingPlanet museum where finds like these can get the right place. For each offer we look at what fits best: preservation, use as a repair source or reuse in another project. Even if you are not sure whether something is special enough, feel free to offer it.
A notebook with a broken screen, a PC without a drive or a console with a small fault does not have to become waste. Sometimes repair is possible. Otherwise, parts may still help another system come back to life.
