Trinity had reportedly been in development since early 2022. Although rumours about a cancelled PlayStation 5 Pro project were entertaining to read, sources claimed Trinity was the only Pro model project actually in progress. Even though the available dates were still provisional, PS5 Pro demo events were reportedly already underway, with most studios expected to receive development kits by the end of November 2023.
Exact specifications were difficult to pin down, but sources claimed Trinity would feature 30 WGP and 18000mts memory.
