Alongside that news, Blizzard shared a little more good news. Players can sign up for the beta through the Battle.net website. After logging in, they can create a beta profile from the account page. There is, of course, no guarantee that everyone who signs up will be selected, but it is worth a try.
After registration, Blizzard decides who is admitted to the beta based on system specifications and several other factors. The main goal is to test the game across a wide range of hardware, so problems can be spotted and fixed early.
Blizzard has not yet announced when the game will appear in shops. The company did confirm that Mac owners can also take part in the beta and will be able to run the game on their Apple machines.
